On March 20th,Jianli County held the Meeting of “the Starting Year of Major Projects for a NewEra” and Land Requisition & Demolishing Work Mobilization.

By taking the construction of major projects as gripper, Jianli County has defined 2018 as “the Starting Yearof Major Projects for a New Era”, 2019 as “the Accelerating Year of Major Projectsfor a New Era”, and 2020 as “the Achievement Year of Major Projects for a New Era”.In 2018, it plans to launch 80 new projects and complete 60 projects. Among them, industrial parks plan to launch 50 newly-commenced projects and 40 operated projects, aiming to achieve the goal of social fixed asset investment of more than RMB 28 billion.

In 2017, with the great boosting of project construction and land requisition & demolishing, the fixed asset investment of the whole county witnessed a good momentum of development.In this year, it signed 70 industrial projects, introduced agreement investment of RMB 16 billion, and completed fixed asset investment of RMB 24.58 billion, an increase of 19.5% year on year and ranking No.2 in Jingzhou.

Secretary Huang Zhenof Jianli County Party Committee affirmed the new achievements and new experience of project construction and requisition & demolishing work. Moreover, he requested to accurately grasp the corresponding new mission and new requirement. The project construction and requisition & demolishing work in a new era should adhere to the people-centered development idea, pay attention to the requirements of high-quality development, and serve for the comprehensive revitalization strategy; should practically enhance the new mechanism and new guarantee of project construction and requisition& demolishing work. Departments at all levels and cadres should intensify the organizational leadership, overall coordination, and supervision and assessmentso as to continuously promote the project construction and requisition & demolishingwork.

The meeting delivered the notice of carrying out the activity of “the Starting Year of Major Projectsfor a New Era”. Heads of Rongcheng Town and Jianli Vocational Education Center made statements about the project construction.
